With advance notice, we can arrange for a highly experienced (and very gifted) underwater photographer, Darvin Ebanks , to document your undersea adventure. Darvin's photos grace the walls of both commercial buildings and government offices in Cayman and can be found in upscale ads and postcards. He also markets them internationally under the name "Planet Ocean".

Darvin is proud to be Caymanian through and through, and claims Rock Hole, George Town as his birthplace. Despite his image as the quintessential Cayman pirate (he is widely featured in swashbuckling garb in promotional materials for Cayman's October carnival, Pirates Week), Darvin is an earnest participant in public life and a passionate supporter of environmental conservation. In recent years, he worked with Peter Milburn on a reef restoration project. After Hurricane Mitch devastated Honduras, he lent a hand to the Cayman relief effort and also videotaped the delivery flights and distribution of supplies for a future documentary.

Darvin's idea of a vacation is an underwater photo trip to Canada to capture images of Orcas and Belugas. Any day now, National Geographic will discover him, but, in the meantime, we can still prevail upon him to come aboard and thrill divers with his undersea compositions.
